About
The Art of Movement in Service of Playful Experience
Between shadow and light, between mechanics and emotion, gameplay animation is that subtle art that breathes life into virtual worlds.
Since 2008, I’ve been guiding characters through their digital dance, always seeking that fluidity which makes the technology fade away—leaving only the experience.
My background
Heavy Rain (2008-2010)
I began my career at Quantic Dream, where I discovered gameplay animation.
My first assignments involved cleaning mocap data for secondary characters and debugging, which helped me gain a deeper understanding of how every technical detail impacts the final visual result.
Gradually, I joined the gameplay team, where I had the opportunity to work on the locomotion of main characters, a key challenge to ensure both realism and responsiveness in an interactive environment.
This evolution allowed me to refine my understanding of animation systems and laid the foundation for an approach that is both technical and artistic.

Beyond Two Souls (2010–2013)
I had the opportunity to lead the gameplay animation department.
Alongside my animation work, I directed several technical motion capture shoots, collaborating with actors such as Willem Dafoe and Elliot Page.
Beyond contributing to the expressiveness of the characters in Beyond Two Souls, I worked closely with programming teams to design and develop a new animation system software.
This experience in technical innovation gave me a holistic understanding of gameplay animation.
Assassin's Creed (2014-2017)
In 2014, I joined the Ubisoft teams for eleven years of creative work on iconic franchises.
I had the opportunity to contribute to three installments of the Assassin's Creed saga (Unity, Syndicate, and Origins) where, within the cinematic department, I helped bring to life the narrative moments that weave the fabric of these historical adventures.
Each sequence, shaped by the precision of motion capture, was a chance to capture the essence of the characters and support the directors' vision.

Ghost Recon (2017-2020)
For Ghost Recon (Wildlands and Breakpoint), I explored the boundaries of tactical realism by designing a new movement wheel that more accurately reflected military motion.
Working with motion capture data, my more technical approach enabled the seamless integration of slope animations and improved the behavior of civilians and enemies, helping to deepen immersion in a world where every gesture tells a story of precision and control.
Prince of Persia : The Lost Crown (2020-2024)
More recently, Prince of Persia gave me the opportunity to reconnect with the poetry of movement.
I worked on the core elements of platforming and combat, striving to preserve the acrobatic soul of the Prince while infusing it with modern fluidity.
This fully keyframed project offered a rare and precious creative freedom, allowing me to explore enemy and boss design through numerous prototypes and iterations, guided by the pursuit of that delicate balance between challenge and elegance that defines the franchise.

Technical and Artistic
Each project has been a new score to interpret, a fresh technical and artistic challenge to embrace with passion.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of exploring a wide variety of genres, teams, tools, and software, all of which have continuously enriched my practice.
From narrative cinematic sequences to the most complex gameplay animation systems, every experience has offered valuable lessons and allowed me to experiment with new approaches.
This diverse journey has shaped me as an animator, enabling me today to bring a technical, artistic, and holistic perspective to gameplay animation as a whole.
And Next...?
This journey is just one step in my creative quest.
Now embracing new dimensions such as freelance work, consulting, and training (currently pursuing RS certification), I aim to further expand the boundaries of my expertise, sharing the knowledge I’ve gained while continuing to explore, learn, and reinvent myself.
Because it is through this constant evolution that my passion for the art of movement continues to grow and fascinate me.

What I Offer Today
After years of learning and creating within major studios, I now want to share this expertise with the community that has given me so much. Through my work in consulting, coaching, and training, I aim to:
-
Support studios in developing their gameplay animation systems
-
Guide teams toward smoother and more creative production pipelines
-
Train the next generation of gameplay animators
-
Solve the technical challenges specific to your projects
My philosophy
The best animators strike a subtle balance where technical precision becomes invisible and movement feels instinctive.
This belief guides every aspect of my work. I deeply believe that gameplay animation lies at the intersection of art and functionality. A movement is never just beautiful or just efficient, it must be both, serving the player while sparking wonder.
In this pursuit of balance, technical mastery is not an end in itself, but a means to unleash artistic expression. It’s when technique fades into the background that the magic happens, when movement becomes second nature to the player, an intuitive extension of their intent.
I approach every animation as a silent dialogue between the player and the game , a conversation made of rhythm, weight, and intention. In this dialogue, every frame matters, and every transition carries a promise.
My Approach
Every project is unique, with its own constraints and ambitions. My approach is adaptive, collaborative, and always in service of your vision.
I don’t come with ready-made solutions, but with an experienced eye and a toolkit shaped by years of AAA productions — and the conviction that together, we can create gaming experiences that will be remembered.
